Drive system reliability is designed into the Carter Day P515 Pre-Cleaner by the incorporation of high capacity double row spherical roller bearings on the shoe shake drive shaft, Polychain Cog belt drive on the shoe shake and standard NEMA face motors and gear reducers. Drive ratings exceed the industry average and the simple mechanical drive system means easy and quick maintenance.

The Exceptional Aspiration System allows an accurate separation of light seed and foreign material from the main product flow. The Horizontal Air Liftings Screen provides a more uniform air wash of the product. It becomes fluidized as it passes over an 8″” wide air screen that runs the full width of the machine. The product is then aspirated to the After-Suction Liftings Chamber for the final separation.
