American Newlong DS-9A

This precision built sewing head is not only the fastest bag closing machine in the market today, but is also the most versatile of all heads currently available. Being one of two heads in the industry (the DS-6AC being the other) that can sew a plain sewn or tape sewn closure with absolutely no modification to the head, this bag closure is suitable for closing all types of bags ranging from paper to woven poly to burlap.

The DS-9 runs vibration free at it's maximum speed of 2700 rpm. This leads to higher production, greater cost efficiency and virtually no maintenance. The oil bath lubrication system is sealed, enclosed and completely maintenance free. Due to this unique but simple oiling system, no oil pump, pipes, lines or filters are needed or used. Moving parts are sealed against dust ensuring maximum productivity and minimal service. The DS-9C incorporates a guillotine style, air operated cutting system while the DS-9A comes standard with a mechanical thread pusher. The DS-9C can be converted to a single thread machine and easy open tape accessories are available.
